Customer Testimonials

Thank you for your willingness to give Will a few more lessons. I was so impressed with all you taught him and how you handled him and how much he gleaned from your words of wisdom. One session with you went a looooong way. You're wonderful.

Just thought I'd catch you up on John Henry's reentry to BCC baseball: he's hanging in there but it's weighing on him. His team is fairly inexperienced and the coach nice but lax. He's getting sick of losing (0-5) and of the other kids not knowing what to do and/or not trying very hard. A lesson in managing discouragement, I guess. He's kept up most of his Gamer's disciplines, still runs to his position and back, still a lot of good chatter and a reasonably clean dug-out. But it's not the same. We wonder what's going on in his head no re: Gamers but we don't pry. It's a great program you run. Keep up the terrific work.

Brendan, You are truly one of the good guys! Your books came at a real time of need for our boys. They had their M.R.I.'s on Friday night and they were very worried what they would find. Tomorrow is the day of reckoning with Dr. Thal. I know we will get through whatever we find out tomorrow. It will actually help to know what the obstacles are the boys will face.

Your support means so much to all of us. And to think I went to the PCA meeting that snowy day at Herndon High School intent on getting some extra work done and not engaging in the program! You had me from the first words of your presentation. I kept thinking, " I want my kids to be coached by this guy." Lucky for all of us I decided to listen and learn that day.

Whatever else you do in your life, know that you have truly touched the lives of two boys and their parents in such a wonderful way. Your parents must be so proud of you. I'll keep you posted on what we hear tomorrow.

The boys have been an absolute joy to watch grow into their cleats. The amount of baseball they now play versus the chaos at the beginning of their youth league season is tremendous. It is a credit to your group of team and practice coaches who continue to demonstrate patience and firm handedness with each of the boys, while remembering that they are just 9-10 year old boys who like baseball. The boys learned a lot about baseball, themselves, and how to play on a team. Three cheers for you and your group!

Thanks to you guys. This has been a great season for all. The kids really have improved and it has been great fun watching them. Jimmy has been having a great time and has really made some great new friends. They have exchanged numbers and are ready to keep the friendship going!!! We have really seen an increase in his confidence level since the first game. I am glad you made the decision to move him up. We hope we can get him into one of your winter sessions. Thanks again for hiring such great guys to teach/coach these kids. See you on Sunday for the big game!!!

Thanks Brendan. It was good talking with you and Rob today. I wish you the best of luck going forward. Headfirst is at the top of its class because of you and your unshakeable commitment to the program's values and mission. I'm very grateful to you and the staff for helping Chris become a person and player. I have no doubt he's ready for high school baseball. No matter how far he goes with baseball, he'll take the valuable lessons he learned into the rest of his life.

Our entire family benefited from being the Headfirst organization in many ways. Your commitment to positive coaching and teaching the baseball skills is a winning combination. I've around youth sports for many years and have seen nothing like it.

As parents, there is nothing more valuable than dropping your child off at a game or practice and having complete confidence that he or she will be treated with the utmost respect, taught the right skills, be safe and have fun.

Feel free to use any or this entire note as a testimonial to families looking into the program. These are not just words, they come from the heart. Let's stay in touch. Please give my best to all the coaches.
